Happy New Year to you all.I love the start of a fresh New Year , it's almost a feeling of I get to start anew, wipe the slate clean.
This brings me to feelings about blogging, I am not sure where to to go with this. I spend a lot of time on the computer playing in photoshop, visiting blogs etc and I need to cut back somewhere. So I am going to take a little break to think about things. It could be two weeks , it could be more. I do love blogland and all of you, but I need to carve out some extra time to take care of myself :)
My first post of this year is to share a collaborative giveaway with my friend Lynda of Diva Designs, who you read about in a recent post when she created a beautiful gothic arch pendant using my art work. We thought it would be nice to share one with you all and this one is even more beautiful, it has a gorgeous cage around it, which I think fits perfectly with the gothic arch style.
The photographs are good , but when you see these in person they are even more stunning.

I know exactly what you mean about blogging Lynn. Love it, but it can be so time consuming keeping up with posts and visiting everyone. Have a wonderful beginning to 2011 and know I will be thinking of you even if you aren't present here!

I know what you are talking about as far as blogging goes...I neeeeeed to paint more this year and what do I do...enter all these challenges...they are fun too but I must paint. I too have to draw the line...a thick black line some-where between fun and work. I have only been doing my blog since June but it takes away from painting time...which is not conducive to my main objective...so I must restrict my entering of challenges and down to business:) Wishing you a productive time away from blogging...your fans aren´t going anywhere...we´ll be here when you get back:) Take care,,,,

I hope you enjoy your break- but I also must selfishly admit that I really hope you'll find a way to keep blogging in your life! Even if it's only a couple times a month, I enjoy seeing what you're up to- creatively and life wise.
