A Happy Hearts Day Giveaway
Happy Valentines Day to my blogger friends :)
What better day than to post this sweet heart giveaway for you in honour of my 400+ followers.
I have created two hearts just for this giveaway and if you would like to win, all you have to do is leave a comment with someway of me to contact you. If you do not have your blogger set so I can reply to your comment, would you please leave your email?
I have been playing with felt lately, and I made you this sweet needle felted heart pin or brooch with tiny little beads. There is a brooch pin in the back to attach it to your jacket or to anything really.
I have been playing in PSE with Kim Klassen's new Sweet Treat Texture which was delivered on Friday to her Textures mailing list.
This next heart is small too, and can be used in a bowl as decor or maybe a pin cushion. I embroidered the design first from a free stitchery pattern at Kviltstina , I just checked and they are still available if you are interested. They are originally designed for quilts, and at one time I was going to stitch them all but, well... you know how it is ? I always want to do it all but I just can't.
The back is Wool Felt in a dark pink almost identical to the heart pin.
Hope you like them, and if you do please don't be shy, join in and leave a comment, everyone is welcome to participate. I will draw a name a week today.
If you havn't checked out my latest published page on Needle Felting Techniques please do. I had a lot of fun putting it together, and I found so many sweet tutorials and videos for this page.
I have also been playing with the wool felt and will be back with more of that when I finish my little projects.
Until then, show a little LOVE today wherever you go, Valentine's Day doesn't have to be about romance only.
Lynn
P.S for those who asked, yes I do need surgery to have my gallbladder removed, but the surgical wards are backed up so it won't be until July, unless I have an emergency. Hope not!

Fabulous hearts, I have been playing with needle felting too, it's great fun, well apart from when you stab yourself with the needle like I did on a couple of occasions LOL. Lovely textural pieces. Tracy Evans x
The hearts are beautiful, so dainty, of course I would love to win!
These are precious, Lynn! Thank you for the chance to make a good home for them!
I'm so glad you left the link for Squidoo. I had never heard of that until you mentioned it in your email earlier. I tried to leave a thumbs up but don't have the prerequisite facebook account. What a great job you did on explaining wool felting. I had no idea there were wool felting machines either...so much to learn! Thanks for educating me!
Happy V.Day!
xo, Sue

Your handmade hearts are as precious as your heart Lynn! I love that you hand embroidered the one heart, and just adore the addition of the seed beeds to the felted one. I am sending healing thoughts and prayers your way in the hopes you have your gallbladder taken care of as soon as you can.
Hugs,
Robin

Hi Lynn, I really like your hearts and would love to win one of them. I will add you to my prayer list. My life has been very hective with having hubby in the hospital and now the nursing home. Will find out Thursday the next plan of action. He is walking without a walker, but he has a blood clot that can't be treated with blood thinners. You take care. Your Missouri Friend.
Beautiful hearts!! I love what you are doing. Bland bland diet!! No fried or greasy, been there done that and I am a nurse. LOL Good luck.

I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago, and I feel MUCH better now! I can eat whatever I want (while when I had it, I couldn't eat anything!), I don't feel extremely tired anymore, I have no more issues with food and digestion. Hope all goes smoothly for you! Will keep you in my prayers.

Monica xo
Hi Lynn,
Your hearts are really sweet,
I am really sorry to hear about your health problems & hope you will soon get it all sorted & get back to the shiny Lynn of old!
Hugs from across the pond,

Thank you everyone, I will be over to visit you all soon, and thanks for your well wishes. I can't believe how many people have had their gallbladder out WOW. I am not worried about the surgery more the pain because it is right up there with childbirth.
I never eat fried or greasy foods so I have no idea what started it off. Anyway, it's just one of those things.
Your hearts are absolutely adorable Lynn...please count me in.
