I love working with Faeries and I love this butterfly fairy vintage clip art which is from my own collection, so I decided to use a flat wooden heart and create something with her. I also love butterlies incase you havn't noticed, and this fae seems to live in a magical land where so many beautiful butterflies live :)
The background is layered with papers, then I painted and wiped some off, stamped and then I added the fae over a piece of vintage doily. When it was done the fae image looked a bit blah so I took my white charcoal pencil and did some highlighting and I just love the effect.This is a gift for someone in my ECS group :)
I like it so much I am going to make another one, with one of her faery friends.
