I just finished last weeks Friday Challenge at Etsy Cottage Style. We are back to weekly challenges, and are given a week to complete, so I just made it in time before tomorrow's new challenge. I didn't think I would bother this week with little Cooper around but he was so sleepy today, so I put him in his little bed and brought him upstairs, he slept for over an hour :)The challenge prompt was "hats" and I have always wanted to use this little girl with her big hat, she looks a lot like one of my nieces when she was younger, so I started with her. I chalked her a bit to bring out the image, her dress, her cheeks and lips, and I shaded around her with black chalk after I was complete. I used my gold leaf pen yet again around the edge and also on the flowers and leaves, I love how it gives it more dimension.
