This, that and the other

Not too long ago, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway of these beautiful note cards from Stephanie Mealor Corder at Dragonfly Design Studios.

They feature her beautiful paintings of flowers, but that's not all she paints. She works in acrylics and is one talented lady, if you have a chance check out her Etsy shop for cards like this, and even some of her original paintings.

Thank you Stephanie, I have a LOVE for cards :)

I also purchased some cards recently from another very talented artist Molly Harrison. I have fallen in love with her work on Zazzle and purchased a few cards that I just had to share with you.

If you like Fairies, Angels, Unicorns and other fantasy art, you will love her shop. She just posted some amazing Christmas Angels too and Polar bears that are so cute.

Visit Molly at robmolily, and delight your inner magical side :)

I have commited to a "Pay it Forward" at Dolore's blog True Blue Canadian.

Here is how it works.....

I have commited to send 3 people a gift in the next 365 days.
If you would like a gift from me, then you must commit to do the same thing within another 365 days.
So what do you think, anyone up for it?

It can be anything, and it can be sent anytime within the next year :)

That's all for now my friends, I am still having problems with my mixed media muse, she hasn't come back, so I am taking it as a sign to get off my butt more and get some much needed exercise, and hopefully she will come back soon.

Have a great weekend,
Lynn

Vintage Style sewing and a beautiful Treasury

Look what's in my vintage linens draw, I have been doing a bit of sewing lately with tea and coffee died bits and pieces.
Below is a 4 x6 postcard on muslin featuring the sweetest little girls , also printed on muslin.

I also made this pretty vintage style bag with a drawstring, with a collage on the front, vintage bits and pieces that have all been tea dyed for that aged look.

Do you see the little bluebirds? I layered them over a vintage postcard image and printed on fabric. You can find the birds at Carol Anne's Boutique, thank you sweetie :) I am sorry I don't know where the postcard image is from. I usually have image in folders by peoples names but it wasn't in one.

Both will be for sale in my Etsy shop which I just re opened yesterday. If you are interested in my wildflower bookmarks, there are a few in the shop too.
I was really surprised to find that someone already included one of my wildflower bookmarks in a beautiful treasury this morning, I feel so honored :)

Here is a close up of the bag.

I have to share part of this Treasury with you, I love it. I remember way back when I used to love creating these on Etsy, during my Cottage Style days of selling there. Click here if you would like to go see it.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Lynn
